Location: Leopardstown, Dublin – Flexible working and remote options.
Contract Length: 12 months
Day rate: Anything up to €443 per day.
Monarch are working with a leading financial organisation in Leopardstown, Dublin who are looking to bring on a Snr Software Engineer. This role involves working with a team of talented developers to develop high performance, high volume, Java based solutions on a platform. This role is a great opportunity for the right person to join a growing team throughout 2020, you will need experience in the below to be successful:- Proficiency with Java JDK 8 or greater.
- Knowledge of JBoss, Tomcat, Spring, Spring Boot, Shell Scripting, JSON.
- Experience with Linux, SQL, Multi-threading, Message Queuing systems
- Knowledge of distributed systems and messaging queuing systems.
- Expertise in Junit or other automated unit testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of Splunk or other alerting and monitoring solutions.
- Knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools such as Jenkins, Chef, Maven
- Passionate about Agile software development and working with SAFe or SCRUM.
- Knowledge of Business Rules Management Systems.
- Knowledge of Source Control Management and working with code in a multi-developer
