Location: Strasbourg, France (occasional travels to Austria)
Contract Length: 8 months, scope for extension
Languages: Fluent in English (+ FR/DU is an asset)
Security Clearance: EU Security clearance – mandatory within 4 months
The position is an experienced Storage and Back up Sys Admin to install and configure the Back Up and Storage infrastructure as well as maintaining the Back Up and Storage infrastructure. You will need experience in the below to be successful:
- The Back Up and Storage Engineer must have good interpersonal skills and must be a team player.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the specific ICT domain of storage and backup
- In-depth experience of storage and back-up solutions, in particular of specific HP storage/back-up solutions, i.e. HP 3PAR, HP StoreOnce,
- Good knowledge of CEPH object storage
- Knowledge of storage/back-up solutions in general
- Knowledge and experience of VEEAM (certification preferred);
- Good communication skills
- Participating in standby (7*24) once per month;
- Knowledge of other elements in the customer’s environment (VMware, RedHat Linux, Windows Server);
- Knowledge of ITIL V3 processes.
