Description

Technical Business Systems Analyst


Location: Dublin, Ireland. The preference is to have candidates local to Dublin or within the Dublin region within commuting distance as the Dublin l office is open. Selected groups can access the office. There is no obligation for a new starter to come into the office. However if there is a sudden change in the covid situation, the person needs to be able to come into the office at short notice, hence the preference to have local candidates


Estimated Start Date ASAP (hiring manager would consider 4-week notice period)


End Date/Duration 12 months and then the plan is to extend afterward if all goes well. The hiring manager will consider converting the individual to a permanent position when the tenure limit is reached.


Hours: Standard working (9-5)


This person will be responsible for:

  • Gather the requirements from the customer, which will be internal customers
  • Translation of functional requirements: defining and delivering high quality business and functional requirements to the development teams for the purpose of completing the design, coding, testing, and implementation phases of the project life cycle. 
  • Identifying data and functional requirements in the design of new/enhanced systems. 
  • Elicits and decomposes business requirements into platform requirements and user stories.


For this role you will need experience with:

  • 7+ years of Business/Systems Analysis experience required
  • Experience with back-end development, APIs & micro-services analysis. This is not from a development point of view but you will be speaking to technical people about these areas and you will be a need to be able to understand the technical language so that you are able to translate to the functional requirements
  • Someone who has a good knowledge of scrum and agile processes
  • Financial and banking background preferred although not essential. This is because the product is financial based.
