Project Manager (Business Change)
We have a new exciting opportunity for a Project Manager (Business Change) to join an expanding organisation in Stoke. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to work for a market leading company who can offer excellent career progression opportunities. My client is currently going through an exciting stage of transformation as they look to mature as a project services team.
To ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
To develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
To ensure resource availability and allocation
To develop a detailed project plan to track progress
To coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
To use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
To measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
To manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders, understanding their motivations and drivers
To perform risk management to minimize project risks
To develop a plan for managing and resolving issues, reporting and escalating to the manager as needed
To establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
To manage technical third parties through functional design, build and implementation
To regularly report on project status at the project management meeting (
To work with the test team in the formulation of test plans if required
To create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Essential:
At least 12 months’ experience of delivering projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
Able to motivate others and lead change
Good influencing skills
Able to challenge constructively
Excellent planning and organisation skills
Good understanding of multiple change management methodologies
Able to use relevant software, e.g. Visio, MS Project

Desirable
PRINCE 2 practitioner
Further education in project management, or previous project management experience
Management of Risk experience
