Monarch are working with a leading financial organisation in Leopardstown, Dublin who are looking to bring on a Snr Software Engineer. This role is a great opportunity for the right person to join a growing team throughout 2020, you will need experience in the below to be successful:- As a senior member of the team you will be responsible for building commercial Java, C and VB based, distributed, highly available applications, where system performance is critical!
- Commercial experience with languages other than Java, particularly C, VB (6 or .NET)
- Experience developing large scale Java services and/or web user interfaces.
- It would be advantageous but not essential for you to have experience in other languages such as Perl, Python, Scala, Kotlin, Ruby, Groovy, or Objective-C.
- Experience in Agile (Scrum) development.
- Proven experience working in a continuous integration environment
- Ability to automate unit, integration and system tests.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- Ideally we are looking for someone who is actively involved in their own professional development and skills growth.
