UX Engineer

Start date:  As soon as possible

Remote working: This role will initially be fully remote.

We are recruiting for a creative design led individual that will be championing the end users interest so we would look for someone with a strong web / mobile application development portfolio. The client are in the delivery industry and work with well recognised online brands. The engineering team have began to move to modern architectures and are looking for the right applicant to be a part of that transition. You will need experience in the below to be successful

• Experience working with either Vue.js / Nuxt
• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript
• Understanding of Authentication (JWT) and Rest API’s
• Proven experience of building modern web applications.
• State Management
• Proven creative portfolio and mastery of design tools (Adobe suite, Sketch)

• You will be building task-based user interfaces for internal and external user workflows
• Working with internal department leads / teams to identify UX optimisations
• Have responsibility for UX Design and branding of applications
• You will be laying the overall groundwork for a future UX team within the business
• Address the customer in every conversation, decision as well as been passionate about their needs and continually striving to improve their experience
• Creating and presenting UX deliverables (IA, wireframes, workflows, prototypes, journeys)
• Create content for the wider business consistent with our brand and messaging
