A fast growing Fintech in London are recruiting for a Information Security Lead to come on board to drive security to the next level across their business. The business has huge ambitious and they’re set to double in size again this financial year – this is a great opportunity for a highly talented security professional to come on the journey with a marketing leading technology house.
As you’ll be a key figure within a growing software development company, having a background in development / engineering will be key as you’ll be engaging with working with developers on a day to day basis.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Research/evaluate emerging cyber security and technology developments
• Monitor for attacks, intrusions and unusual activity
• Design new security systems
• Engage in ethical hacking
• Work with he development teams to ensure best practices are followed for code, infrastructure and testing
• Automate security testing

• A proven track record within both engineering / development and Information Security
• Has experience within a leadership role – will be able to help the business grow and work with the Head of Security to grow the division
• Happy to work in a hands on role – whilst this is a senior position within the business there will be a need to get on the tools when required
• Have a passion for security and want to create something truly great as a security service offering
