VMWare Specialist, VMWare Developer, VMWare Support, Contract
We are currently looking for a VMWare Specialist to join our client in Belgium on a contract basis.
Duration: 6 Months initially with the view to extend
Start: ASAP
Location: Brussels, Belgium - on site
Languages: English (Fluent)
As the VMWare Specialist your responsibility will be to help manage the VDI infrastructure and its integration. Ensuring 3rd line support and ticket handling as well as liaise with the external parties in case of escalated incidents/problems.
You will also:- Design architecture, technical evaluation of alternatives offered on the market, conduct proof of concept, test pre-production environment for hardware and software product
- Be charge of the migration of new systems in the production environment (i.e. new Windows versions or new software products), definition of procedures, training of operators for new procedures, development of tool
- Strong background in VMWare
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices in ICT operations
- Knowledge of tools for ICT management
