Analyst Programmer - Software Developer - Software Programmer - C# Developer - .Net Developer
Monarch IT are working alongside a Manufacturing Company, who are looking for an Software Engineer on an initial 6 week contract. This role can go permanent, if this is something you're open to. You will be required to work on site full time, whilst working on some urgent projects. If you are considering going permanent, you will be working onsite initially, with the view to be working from home 2-4 days per week.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone to really take ownership of the IT infrastructure, landscape, projects and development, with a view of taking a more management/ director role looking after the companies overall IT in the next year or two. Rate: £300 - £400 per day
Location: Stourport-upon-severn (must be able to travel into the office)
Sector: Manufacturing (Must have experience)
Job role as a Software Developer:- Management of all IT related projects.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to the business for future IT based projects.
- Take the lead in establishing IT requirements within the business.
- Design and implement all bespoke software projects.
- Managing system testing and user acceptance testing for all new or updated software.
- Documenting existing business and manufacturing processes, both IT and non-IT based.
- Establishing and documenting new business and manufacturing processes.
- Provide support and training for all bespoke software.
- Sage 200 administration and support.
- Provide IT support for Windows and MS Office users.
- Must have worked with a Manufacturing organisation (understanding on stock controls etc)
- Code is currently written in C#, so this is advantageous - Will consider Java etc
