Business Analyst - Senior Business Analyst
Monarch IT are working with a Digital Agency based in London, who are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join them on a permanent basis - You will be required to work on site Tuesday's and Thursday's, so you will need to be commutable to London.
Within this role, you will be sitting between the User Experience (UX), strategy and design teams, the digital Business Analyst will be an integral part of the experience design process and will support in the creation of a complete end-to-end digital product or service.
Role:- Lead requirement gathering workshops, interviews and deep-dive sessions.
- Own the capturing and end-to-end management of functional requirements, across the full product life-cycle, from ideation to successful sign-off.
- Clearly document detailed functional and non-functional requirements and create comprehensive acceptance criteria that is easily understood across the whole team.
- Collaborate with all internal and external teams to fully develop requirements, by highlighting edge case scenarios and helping to anticipate GAPs and unknowns.
- Serve as a “go-to” team member for resolving blockers relating to requirements and scope.
- Proactively support client product owners to capture & finalise requirement detail, and articulate decisions to the wider team.
- Help with the prioritisation of backlog functionality in line with strategic goals and considerations.
- Serve as the single point of contact for all matters relating to scope and related decisions.
- Contribute and partake in all agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, planning, refinement, demos and retrospectives.
- Perform business analysis wherever required, helping to identify opportunities for improvement and feature enhancements.
- 4 years BA experience +
- Managing requirement across the full product lifecycle.
- Experience writing & clarifying user stories & detailed acceptance criteria.
- Experience working with and advising client product owners.
- Experience working with cross functional teams (UX, UI, data, development).
- Experience performing As-Is and To-Be process mapping.
- Demonstrable understanding of development processes and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience working on large-scale development programmes with international teams.
- Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence & Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to build trust and confidence with stakeholders of all levels.
