Monarch IT are working with a centralised government entity who are looking for a Cyber Service Manager on a 12 month contract basis. Paying up to £600 per day inside IR35. This position is based in Manchester, and you will be required to work in the office 1/2 days per week.
Our client are expecting the Cyber Service Manager to help enable and drive a fundamental transformation and mature the organisational cyber security.
Duties of the role:- Develop and manage service level agreements with service providers
- Monitor and report on service performance against SLAs
- Manage internal customer expectations
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure service efficiency
- Identify areas for improvement in service delivery and develop strategies to address them
- Monitor external trends and developments in cyber service delivery and make recommendations for improvement
- Work with other teams to ensure compliance with delivery policies and procedures
Requirements for suitable applicants:- You’ll have proven experience of Cyber or IT Service management, including experience in managing the service life cycle, including the design, deployment, maintenance and management of IT or cyber services
- You'll be able to advocate for the right approaches and continuously challenge in and out of the team
- You should also have experience in developing and implementing IT service strategies, working with vendors and internal customers and monitoring service budgets.
- Demonstrate technical competence in Cyber Security through relevant qualifications and/or practical knowledge
- Have the ability to confront issues and challenge assumptions at the highest levels with delivery partners, stakeholders and clients in an assertive yet constructive way
- Show you can develop pragmatic policies, procedures, standards and processes that deliver end-to-end, tightly monitored IT environments
- In addition, you should be knowledgeable in IT service management frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT and ISO/IEC 20000
