We are currently working with a large Government client who are looking for a Training and Learning Manager to join them, someone who can focus on Cyber Security Training, Learning and Development.- Location: London/Manchester or Bristol – Need to be ok to go onto site 1-2 days a week
- IR35: Outside IR35
- Duration: 6 Month Contract
- Start: ASAP
As the Training and Learning specialist you will identify, define, and deliver training and awareness and run consultations with staff to improve the maturity of the client’s cyber security awareness across. Due to the specialist nature of these skills, they will be looking for the contractor to guid them and provide advice on best practices throughout the contracting period, which will result in an approved security culture.
Experience within the government or with Government digital standards would be highly desirable for this role.
Key responsibilities:- Experience of leading organisational culture change activities, preferably in security and cyber security
- Overall knowledge of cyber security sufficient to deliver work and support authoritative communications
- Experience working across organisations to develop and deliver workforce skills improvement programmes
- Experience of leading stakeholder engagement, identifying opportunities for improvement, enhancing capability and driving organisation wide change
- Exposure to government technology delivery
- Knowledge of procurement and government commercial processes, and preferably specific understanding of routes to purchase learning and development
Key areas of the role:- Onboarding requirements elaboration and planning - Hold consultations with teams to define an engagement model to support this work
- Training and Cultural needs and Analysis
- Develop a delivery plan
- Meeting – Hold meeting on security coordination
- Provide regular updates on cultural change – delivering awareness activities
