Java Developer - Java Software Engineer - Java Engineer - Senior Java Developer
I am working with a global broadcasting company based in London, who are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer on a 18/ 24 month contract. Paying £650 - £750 per day INSIDE IR35 - Location London 1/2 days on site every 2 weeks.
Details on what they are looking to do:- Re-platforming their CMS, removing dependency with their noSQL database and replacing it with a combination of PostgreSQL, Amazon DocumentDB and new Java APIs on AWS
The required individual who is successful will be assisting their established engineering team, where you'll be familiar with the product and codebase, increase velocity and bring time lines down to meet business needs.
The current API team you'll join is made up of a Software Engineering Team Lead, a Principal Software Engineer, two Senior SEs, two Software Engineers, one Junior SE and an Apprentice SE.
Essential skill-set required as a minimum:- Java 8 and 17,
- XQuery,
- PostgreSQL
- AWS services: S3, EC2, SQS/SNS
Nice-to-have/bonus skills & experience:- MarkLogic,
- Cucumber-JVM,
- MongoDB
- AWS Lambda, RDS, DocumentDB
