Our consultancy client is currently looking for a number of experienced Network Engineers for 12 month contracts on site with one of their Public Sector clients in Leicester. Working insider IR35 you will work mainly on site with occasional remote working so must be able to travel to Leicester most of the week and work on a 24/7 oncall rota.
You will have a good working knowledge of Cisco Technologies, Palo Alto and Fortinet Firewalls and actively manage, configure, upgrade and support the complex Networking infrastructure including Data, Voice, video, Wireless and Security. With a minimum CCNA certification you will have proven experience of supporting Cisco Networking and Wireless Technologies and a comprehensive background of network support. Experience with LAN fundamental and TCP/IP are essential as is network Security – (Firewalls, NAC, Web Filtering) and configuration of QOS on the network. Any experience with F5 load balancers and VoIP are desireable as is having worked in an ITIL environment previously.
