Java Developer, Software Engineer, Java Engineer, Java, PostgreSQL, AWS Remote, Homebased

We are currently working with a large media company in central London nwho are looking for 2 Java Developers to join them on longterm contracts.

Hybrid: Mainly home-based with a weekly / fortnightly day in the office
Duration: 18-24 months
IR35: Inside IR35

You will be joining an established engineering team that is familiar with the product and codebase, increase velocity and bring timelines down to meet business needs.

Expected skillset required:

  • Java 8 and 17,
  • XQuery,
  • PostgreSQL
  • AWS services: S3, EC2, SQS/SNS
 
Nice-to-have/bonus skills & experience:
  • XQuery,
  • MarkLogic,
  • Cucumber-JVM,
  • MongoDB
  • AWS Lambda, RDS, DocumentDB
