We are currently recruiting for a Training Manager to join a market leading company based in Birmingham. My client is currently going through an exciting period of growth and are now looking to secure an experienced Training Manager to join the PMO team.

Position Overview
This is a player/coach role. This role is a critical part of the strategic programme function and will establish and manager the IT training needed to support the implementation of new services and capabilities that the strategic programmes delivery throughout 2017.  Once programme delivery has been completed, this role will run the BAU training service.

Responsibilities

  • · Leading and managing strategic training team (circa 1 SMEs)
  • · Team reward and recognition
  • · Implements managers all aspects of the programme training service, including: training strategy, methods, standards, processes, programmes, courses, course content and all documentation and training material
  • · Able to provide training for O365 products and support associated product adoption and change
  • · Able to provide a training service that meets all the needs of the user community, this will include: Awareness Session, Technology Demos, Formal training, Informal Training, Videos, QRG, knowledge Articles, Buzz Sessions and 121 training.
  • · Ensures that all training is completed in a timely manner and to the agreed quality criteria

What we are looking for

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate awareness and previous knowledge of the following:
  • Have worked in a large complex Blue Chip environment
  • Have completed the delivery of similar roles within complex environments
  • Experienced stakeholder manager – able to influence successfully at all levels within the organisation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including a confident presenter and facilitator
  • Ability to identify, assess and prioritise
  • Customer focused
  • 3-5 years’ experience in working in a Group IT shared service environment
