This specialised government organisation is on the hunt for an SC cleared Technical Support Analyst to join part of a Azure/Office 365 cloud environment role where the Analyst will provide support to the organisation’s Technical Architect.
- Experience of supporting both large and small organisations with proven experience of maintaining a broad solution portfolio including hardware, software and services
- Significant technical experience of problem solving and fault diagnosis within a VIP IT Service Desk
- Experience in effectively supporting and developing a large Azure/Office 365 environment (28,000+ users)
- Relevant experience of working in a service management focused environment maintaining service in line with Service Level Agreements
- Good understanding of IT security and compliance within an Azure/Office 365 environment
- Significant experience in supporting and administering relevant technologies and Office 365 services
- Azure – User Management, MFA, Conditional Access, Security Groups and Reporting;
- Exchange Online – Configuration, Troubleshooting, Reporting, and User/Group Management;
- SharePoint – Creating pages on SharePoint and administering access and permissions;
- Skype for Business – Setup, configuration and support.
- High-level knowledge of creating PowerShell scripts to simplify and streamline management of Azure/Office 365 environments
- Extensive experience of using an IT service management tool, specifically ServiceNow
- Good understanding of networking and principles, with hands-on experience of:
- Cable patching, network switching and routing;
- 4G wireless broadband;
- WiFi network solutions.
- Experience of setting-up and supporting audio visual (AV) equipment for meetings, presentations and public forums
- Able to conceptualise, build and develop mobile IT services to meet Customer needs, and then identify and work with suppliers to deliver solutions in a timely manner
- Excellent IT generalist experience capable of setting-up and configuring PCs and laptops, creating ‘gold images’, etc.
- Must have or be eligible to obtain SC clearance
