A global software provider is looking for a Technical Customer Support Lead to join their UK team and oversee the investigation of major incidents.  This is a varied role that will involve working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders; outstanding communication skills and a high level of technical expertise are required to be considered for the position.

The successful applicant will have a broad technical skill set with strong knowledge of SQL and UNIX.  You will ideally have worked in a software support position (preferably SaaS) and have experience dealing with stakeholders at all levels.  You will also assist with mentoring and training junior team members to increase the technical ability throughout the team.

As Technical Support Customer Lead you will have strong organisational skills and will conduct MI analysis to identify dissatisfaction areas, providing subject expertise when required.  Working with internal teams you will deliver solutions and advise on platform improvements.

Essential requirements:
  • Strong SQL and UNIX experience
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in a software support role
  • The ability to talk about technical matters with non-technical people
