Clearance Level Required: Disclosure Scotland (Candidates will need to be willing to undergo a Disclosure Scotland check at interview stage.)               

Project overview:  Day-to-day you will be responsible for working with that team to design, create and improve a new legal platform for use across government. We are looking for someone who has the confidence and experience to challenge assumptions and recommend new technological opportunities across our architecture.

As the SharePoint Developer you will have knowledge in the following requirements:

  • Designed and implemented internal SharePoint web design and theme, using HTML5, CSS3,Angular JS and responsive design.
  • SharePoint Hosted app development and configuration for internal / extranet SharePoint site
  • Expert in developing scripts with PowerShell for SharePoint configuration and deployment
  • Proven experience in working with SharePoint API to develop CSOM/JSOM applications
  • Utilized jQuery to create custom enhancements on current sites for customer satisfaction and efficiency
  • Implemented security policies, automatic metadata generation and SharePoint workflows for document handling
  • Knowledge of XML, web services and other methods of systems interface
  • An ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Continuous Integration Build process and automated unit test skills
  • Experience of developing custom web parts and workflows in SharePoint
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to work within a team
  • Experience of developing search and find solutions
  • Knowledge of non-relational database systems
  • System administration and configuration management skills
  • Experience presenting work at user groups and conferences
  • Experience of building and scaling high-traffic websites
  • Understanding of the use of Responsive Web Design
  • Experience of designing and maintaining public HTTP APIs
  • Experience working on technical projects within a team
  • Working knowledge of using and configuring Azure cloud services
  • Knowledge of the use of version control systems such as TFS/GIT
  • Ability to quickly research and learn new programming tools and techniques
  • Analysis, design and development and experience within an Agile environment
