We are currently recruiting for a Infrastructure Technical Lead to join well established organisation in Birmingham. My client needs a capable Team Leader to enhance their client side server support and infrastructure services.
This role is pivotal but challenging, diverse and rewarding and will offer you an opportunity to grow technically as the breadth of in-house technology and pipelined projects are substantial.
The person required will require tenacity, patience, teamwork and the flexibility to go the extra mile and offer a 1st class customer experience. As the Technical/Server SME you will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with new hardware and software technologies with a number of major technical projects imminent. The role will require a solid mix technical, functional, people and team management.
Day to day you will lead a team who are tasked with the support over 1,300 users in a Microsoft Data Centre and your key responsibilities will include all Server configurations 2008/20012/2016, Active Directory, VMware, Storage, MS Office 365 and/or MS Azure.
Key technical experience required will evolve around:
Windows Server 2008 and 2012 with Sever 2016 expertise highly desirable
Microsoft operating systems and protocols, AD, Exchange etc
Active Directory, ADFS, Group Policy
Storage (Nimble, NetApp)
MS Cloud, Azure, Office 365
Microsoft Windows7, 8, and 10
SCCM 2012 and 2016
WSUS, DHCP, DNS
MS Office 2016
