Key Responsibilities

A Senior Business Analyst/Architect is required to come on board this high profile government organisation and conduct review of all current and future planned service transformations. They will have to ability to identify and support channel requirements (e.g. telephony, webchat, face to face interactions) for future customer and user interaction within these services. Working with the User Experience team and service projects, prioritise the development of future support channels and lead on the development and design of support channel components. Contribute to plans for user testing of the support channel components. Engagement with project teams and assurance boards to ensure acceptance of support channel components

Skills and Experience 
  • Business/Enterprise Architecture, able to design services and organisations from the ground up – data, tech, people, business unit, departments, governance and information flows
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, needed to elicit and test requirements quickly in unfamiliar domains of knowledge with senior stakeholders
  • Experience of user led and iterative design (likely from working with agile) • Advanced analysis skills, good with statistics and able to do options/cost-benefit analyses and other business case calculations
  • Requirements engineering, able to elicit and create requirements for any technology (functional and non-functional – e.g. CRM, telephony, web chat, bespoke digital products), operational policies and procedures, 3rd party contracts
  • Business process and activity mapping, creating solutions that meet the myriad of user and business objectives, within technical and programme constraints (e.g. time)
  • Strong project management, able to define, estimate and deliver against demanding plans, managing work across different domains
  • Experience of delivering and making things work, not just design but testing and delivery
  • Understanding of the full business and project lifecycle
  • Experience of working in an agile environment
  • Experience of coaching/mentoring staff to build organisational capability
