IT Project Manager - Plus 10% bonus and car allowance

We currently have an urgent requirement for an IT Project Manager to join a market leading company based in Birmingham. My client is currently investing millions back into IT and the successful candidate will have the chance to work on a variety of exciting projects involving some cutting edge technologies.

This role ensures the delivery of Project outcomes through:

  • The execution of standard project processes, including maintenance of project documentation and reporting.
  • The end-to-end delivery of medium to large projects.
  • Compliance with agreed, documented methodology, completing projects to base-lined time, cost and quality.

Reporting to Project Team Management and possibly a Programme Manager within a matrix environment.
Responsibilities
  • Project manage IT projects to meet project objectives to time, cost and quality.
  • Deliver projects to agreed methodologies and standards, using appropriate tools.
  • Produce and maintain all project documentation: Project Plans, Change Control, Status reports, RAID logs etc. prioritising and building mitigation plans to minimise impact and escalating business critical issues in a timely manner.
  • Highlight and actively engage all project stakeholders and maintain close and ongoing relationships with key stakeholder through the life of the projects.
  • Quality management of project products.
  • Construct, gain approval and manage the project budget.
  • Establish and manage resource requirements, building cross-functional teams as necessary and ensuring these and departmental resources are utilised efficiently.
  • Maintain project reporting and provide highlight reports when requested.
What we are looking for
Must have:
  • Experience of successful project management, with Prince2 or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of strong stakeholder management across a diverse business environment.
  • Experience of working on multiple concurrent project deliveries.
  • Experience of project and possibly programme reporting.
