IT Project Manager - Mobilisation of new contracts
Unfortuntely candidates coming with experience in finance or operating in an internally facing PM role won't be suitable.
Ideally we need someone coming from some sort of professional services or customer facing background. Candidates must have experience of mobile working and knowledge of the software lifecycle.
Responsible for the delivery of the IT workstreams into the business change programme mobilising a £170 per annum contract, which will include; Mobile Working, Time & Attendance, Portal & Infrastructure and Networking. This will be time and cost pressured delivery through pre-mobilisation, mobilisation and integration phrases, with a requirement to manage stakeholders at all levels, up to Managing Director.
- Project management of IT workstreams to agreed standards and methodology ensuring delivery to expected benefits to time, quality and cost
- Management of all project documentation, project plans and risk and issues logs, ensuring delivery, cost and benefits are closely tracked
- Highlight and actively engage all project stakeholders and maintain close and ongoing relationships with key stakeholder through the life of the projects
- Build and maintain RAID’s logs (Risk, assumptions, Issues and Dependencies) prioritising and building mitigation plan to minimize impact and escalating business critical issues in a timely manner
What we are looking for
The successful candidate will have a track-record of successfully delivering multiple technical projects/programmes. An articulate communicator with strong stakeholder management skills with a background of working in cost/time pressured, challenging environments. Experience and an interest in new/mobile technologies would be desirable.
