Job Description

This role reports into the technical portfolio delivery team based in Peterborough. The team undertakes a number of tasks to bring controls and governance for the delivery team and improve quality by addressing recurring themes. The team also performs the administration for the SAFe PI Planning process, planning features in advance, adding/monitoring features on our tracking system ALM (Application Lifecycle Monitoring) and ensuring no exceptions for financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on initiatives for sharing with management team and business stakeholders
  • Daily tracking of initiatives using ALM (Application Lifecycle Monitoring) 
  • Managing the backlog of initiatives in readiness for scheduling during the quarterly SAFe planning events
  • Complete administration and organisational activities ahead of the quarterly 3 day SAFe initiative planning events and actively participate in facilitating with teams during the event
  • Ensuring post event tasks are completed on time and updates are made regularly to the team’s SharePoint communication site
  • Improve quality by addressing recurring themes from retrospective discussions
  • Assisting Project Managers with reporting and administration
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc Management Information and client KPIs
  • Identify dependencies within and across initiatives, ensuring planning, management and appropriate escalation of issues with other teams where required
  • Implement Governance and quality standards across initiatives, challenging any inconsistencies

  • Previous experience of working in a PMO function and/or using ALM is desirable
