We are currently recruiting for an IT Support Engineer who will provide 2nd and 3rd line support.
Escalation of appropriate faults, failures and modification requests to the relevant parties, ensuring timely and appropriate responses in accordance with any existing service contracts
Engage as part of rollout team for projects
Maintain up-to-date technical skills to perform the role in a dynamic business environment
Provide support, development and administration for server based Systems, support and administration for security systems, networking systems including edge and Core switches, WAN Routers and Wireless networking systems.
As a member of the team, work closely with all parts of the business owning support tickets to resolution as well as helping develop the skills within the IT Helpdesk Team
Creating and updating system documentation and knowledge bases
The successful IT Systems Engineer will have a mixture of the below experience:
- Windows Clustering and Network Load Balancing
- Windows 2008/2012/2016 Server
- Hyper-V Administration
- Active Directory
- TSQL Querying for data retrieval
- LAN/WAN TCP/IP environment
