We are currently recruiting for an IT Systems and Asset Manager (Maximo and CAFM) to join a market leading organisation in Central London.


Job purpose

We are recruiting for an experienced IT systems and Asset manager responsible for providing IT leadership, support and configuration to a large Contract.
 
As the contract’s dedicated IT Systems and Asset Manager you will work closely with stakeholders within the business to design, develop, implement and maintain business tools as well as providing support, guidance and management to the Senior Management Team in relation to IT equipment, software, and asset data. As the IT Manager you will also employ best practices within the function and ensure that necessary standards and controls meet regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Providing IT systems support to the contract
  • Responsible for expediting resolution of escalated service issues and investigating to resolve IT/Asset support issues.
  • Provide first level software support including installation of software and basic troubleshooting for employee’s computer and software problems and general support to end users.
  • You will be a super user of the CAFM System, and the first point of contact for system queries
  • Co-ordinates referrals to appropriate technical, professional or service personnel for appropriate services, repairs, training and follow –up.
  • Perform troubleshooting to resolve problems related to users account, security groups, access, operating systems, messaging and related components.
  • Provides configuration, administration and support of server hardware, active directory, domain accounts and groups, mailboxes, remote access, and virtual servers.
  • Maintain Asset Data within the CAFM system, ensuring records are up to date and accurate.
Knowledge skills & experience
  • racts of a similar size (£15m)of managing and operating an IT Asset function
  • Financial budgeting and reporting of IT departmental costs
  • Third party relationship management
  • Good understanding of CAFM systems (Maximo experience would be highly advantageous) and their application in the operational environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft office software applications.
