Job Description

A leading security company based in Leicester looking for a Security Architect that will be working on fantastic projects. You will be joining a team that need your help and knowledge as a methodical and organised individual to take responsibility for implementing, documenting and auditing to ISO27001 requirements. 


As the IT Security Architect you will have knowledge in the following requirements:
  • Active directory, firewall configuration, access control, back-ups, secure disposal, protective monitoring, protection of sensitive information, patch management, CIS baselined endpoint hardening, password management systems and implementing other ISO27001 security controls.
  • Experience of hardening Windows OS policies.
  • ISO27001 – specifications for a framework of policies and procedures that include all legal, physical and technical controls involved in an organisation’s risk management
  • Experience securely handling and managing HMG information
  • Demonstrated ability to identify risks associated with business processes, operations, information security programs and technology projects and log security incidents and breaches
Desirable:
  • Conduct risk-assessments to ISO27005 standards and producing risk treatment plans
  • Conduct IT security internal audits
  • UK Security Clearance
  • DBS cleared
Possible certification requirements are:
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP)
  • Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP)
  • SANS-related certifications Education requirements can vary, but most require a BA or BS in information security, engineering, mathematics, or related area. A Master’s degree in an IT field is a plus, and a Master’s in cybersecurity is an even bigger plus.
