Great opening for a 1st Line Support Engineer / Helpdesk Engineer to join a digital entertainment company based in Hertford. This contract will be 2 month contracts to assist the technical team during a busy period where you will be providing 1st line support to customers via the phone a VPN remote connections.
Day to day you will be responsible for supporting worldwide customers, being the first point of contact, logging calls, analysing and resolving technical faults and providing support and updates to bespoke software.
You must be able to drive, start IMMEDIATELY (Tuesday / Wednesday next week) and live within 45 minutes / 1 hour of Hertford
- Previous experience (1-2 years) within a Helpdesk / 1st Line Support position
- Proven experience supporting customers over the phone and remote connection
- Technical experience with Android OS & Windows OS – Windows 7, 8.1 and 10
- Basic networking skills – Wifi networks, creating VPNs and knowledge of TCP/IP
