Head of Networks

£75,000 to £85,000 plus £6,300 car allowance, 10% bonus, 8% pension, healthcare and flexible working

We are currently recruiting for a Head of Network Services  for a well established FTSE 250 company based in Birmingham.  The Head of Network Services will provide Next Generation Directives, Operational Improvement, Management Support, Advice and Guidance for current and future strategies and processes.
Accountable for Network Services, Shared Services and integrating internal teams, external partners and 3rd parties to provision, maintain and support Network Services offerings and ultimately pursue a world class Network Service offering to a global clientele.

What we are looking for:

A highly motivated technical leader with a strong background in IT Operations and Service Delivery of Network services using both internal and external capabilities. The individual will be experienced in 3rd party supplier management and integration to deliver services and projects to a high standard and in line with the company targets.

The Head of Network Services should be experienced in managing operational IT relationships with industry leading service providers and providing infrastructure as part of outsourced or Shared Services, with strong ITIL exposure. The individual should have a good understanding of a wide range of network and communications technologies and have experience in large scale network transformation projects. The individual will be able to show proven team and man-management, coaching, mentoring & developing skills along with hands on experience of matrix managing IT Teams. The Head of Networks will have experience implementing best practice procedures around an ITIL framework.

You will be responsible for ensuring your Management Team and Technical Teams are aligned and prioritised to meet service continuity, improvements, SLA's and KPI targets.
