Enterprise Architect 

We have a new exciting opportunity for a Enterprise Architect within an expanding FTSE 250 business. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to work for a market leading company that can offer excellent career progression opportunities. The Enterprise Architect will support the Head of Business Systems Architecture in undertaking Enterprise Architecture activities within scope of the Business Systems Architecture domain and its associated portfolios, programmes and projects by:
  • Describing and analysing current business capabilities and the enabling components of these capabilities, including processes, organisations, locations, data, applications and technology
  • Performing detailed architecture portfolio analysis using conceptual Business Capability Models or other reference models, capability maturity models and portfolio analysis techniques
  • Creating and using conceptual and logical data models to understand data lineage and structure across organisations
  • Identifying risks and opportunities for optimization and transformation of the Enterprise Architecture landscape

Technical Skills:
  • Experience of creating, championing and using Enterprise Architecture pratices and deliverables to deliver significant organizational change, including:
      o Detailed holistic Enterprise Architecture models comprising: Business Capabilities, Processes,                  Organisations, Locations, Data, Applications and Technology
      o Capability assessments of current Enterprise Architectures (holistic, as above)
      o Visions
      o Strategies
      o Transformational blueprints (comprising current state, target state, gap analysis, etc.)
      o Transformational roadmaps
      o Directives (including Principles, Standards, Policies, etc.)
      o Reference models and architecture
  • Experience across different system architecture approaches (2/3-tier, distributed, Web, SaaS, PaaS)
  • Knowledge and experience of TOGAF, BCS Enterprise & Solution Architecture Reference Model or equivalent architecture frameworks
