Job Description

A leading insurance brand based in Central London is looking for a UI Designer that will be working on some awesome projects and one of which is working across 3 SCRUM’s primarily for the UI design of key areas of the website. This role will be perfect for a Digital experience designer who wants to get involved in a large team working for a leading global company. This is a great opportunity and would be open to people that want flexible working hours in a lifestyle orientated role. As the UI designer you will have knowledge in the following requirements: 
  • Would ideally have designed for mobile friendly websites, in an ecommerce environment
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar UX/UI design role
  • Working in agile/scrum environments
  • Ability to have conversations and debates with developers
  • Have a good understanding of using data and customer feedback to guide design decisions
  • Comfortability with tools such as AxureRP, InVision, Sketch etc.
  • Able to build prototypes and write test scripts to get user feedback
  • Comfortable working at conceptual and detailed levels – adjusting techniques and approaches as necessary
What the role will involve:
  • Producing UI designs for new features on the website and making the design of the website in line with brand guidelines
  • Generating ideas and concepts for optimising existing features based on customer feedback and data
  • Producing prototypes, and running user testing to ensure customer-centric design
  • Producing UI mock ups and assets to support presentation and pitch activity
  • Working closely with developers to deliver the best possible customer experience
