This is an opportunity to work in a diverse team, where you will be exposed to financial and digital aspects and will gain technology and payments experience.
This is a junior role but the client does want someone with at least 2 years’ experience as they need the successful person needs to be up and running quite quickly.
Length of contract: 12 month contract
The client is a financial institution who provides customer support to clients which will be banks. The successful person will be dealing with this on a day to day basis and will be a customer service representative by phone and by email. You will be the single point of contact for operational enquiries.
Any issues will go through to this team so you will be dealing with a wide variety of issues at a high level with these customers so you must have good senior stakeholder engagement experience.
At least 2 years customer service skills in the financial banking or payments sector,
Examples of queries include digital queries e.g. something is wrong with a transaction. Banks themselves have their own queries around settlement and authorisations so you must know how to set it up, research into what happened. It can be very varied into what happened so this role will cover a wide range of operational queries,
Passionate about customer service and customer experience,
Lots customer interactions so must have lots of customer experience, external stakeholders as well as internal stakeholders, such as customer delivery and regional offices.
Most important – communication skills need to be on strong, good attention to detail for the queries they get
Previous experience working with payment technologies
Time management skills and the ability to work under pressure as it can be pressurised environment and fast paced so you need to be able to work under pressure,
Expeeience working with Microsoft products,
Experience working in the banking or the financial sector ideally.
Ideal technical skills:
Customers are all in English- they do deal with customers in other languages (any other languages would be an added advantage but not necessary for the role
