Application Support Analyst - Oxford

My client are a well established software house, delivering a suite of products primarily to the financial / public-sector, based in central Oxford near to the rail station. 

They’re seeking an Application Support Analyst with good SQL Server skills - someone who can write complex queries, use 'where' clauses and so on - to interact with and support their customers! 

In addition you'll have great communication skills and enjoy working with others and providing high quality application support. Further knowledge of Microsoft Access, Business Objects or SQL Reporting Services are welcome (but not mandatory to be considered) too, as well as fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook etc.). 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven IT Support / Application Support person to further their career, or to break in to this very popular career route! 

Desired Skills:
  • Application Support Analyst experience.
  • Solid SQL Server experience (can write 'where' clauses etc.
  • Microsoft Access, Business Objects, SQL Reporting Services all welcome too... 
  • Excellent communication and customer manner. 
  • Proven Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook etc.).

Some out of hours support availability is needed in evenings / weekends on a rota system - this would be planned well in advance and can be swapped with normal working hours / overtime.
