My client are a leading commercial legal expert based in the Temple area of central London, they're looking to grow their IT support team with a new opportunity for a 2nd Line / IT Support Engineer to operate on site, supporting upwards of 120 users on Desktop and Mobile!
As a 2nd Line Support Engineer / IT Support Engineer you will...
Leverage your hands on troubleshooting and support skills with Windows desktop environments (Windows 7, 8 and 10) as well as supporting Active Directory, MS Office 2013 / MS Office 2016 queries, Mobile support (iPhone, Blackberry, Android) and troubleshooting and maintenance of PC hardware and software including connectivity, photocopiers and printers.
A strong customer facing manner is a must as you'll be directly meeting with IT users at all levels who require your support.
You'll also have the opportunity to learn VMWare, virtualisation, Exchange, Windows Server (2008, 2012, 2016), Citrix, Networking / Switches / Firewalls / Wifi / VLAN, GDPR and encryption!

- 6 months+ hands on Desktop support experience
- Support of Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 plus Active Directory
- Working knowledge of MS Office 2013 / 2016
- Experience with mobile devices (iPhone, Android, Blackberry)
- Strong communication skills and confident manner, comfortable working closely hands on with end clients at all levels.
