We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Infrastructure Delivery Manager to join an expanding organisation in Solihull. My client is currently embarking on a major technology refresh. As a result their IT department will mature extensively over the next few years and you could be instrumental in helping them achieve it! 

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background delivering Cloud and/or Infrastructure projects to take a lead role in helping my client on their journey.

Job Purpose
The Infrastructure Delivery Manager will be responsible for delivery of all Infrastructure and Cloud projects as well as managing the demand of Infrastructure and Cloud services. The role will provide drive and focus in the delivery of their function. Working very closely with the Service and Support teams, as well as the Solution Delivery Managers, to deliver a portfolio of work to time, cost and quality. Some Production support will also be required.
Key Duties 

  • Initial requirement will be working with the other Leads in Infrastructure and Cloud and wider IT team to redefine and implement a new Infrastructure delivery process.
  • Line management of a delivery team
  • Matrix management of other technical staff
  • 3rd party management to deliver certain technical components
  • Management of the Infrastructure portfolio of projects comprising of small and large changes
  • Primary contact for Business Change and other Delivery Managers for technical delivery
  • Ensure correct Service Transition and On-boarding for new technologies
  • Creation of technical requirements/scope and estimations
  • Delivery of technical designs as required
  • Resource management of delivery team
  • Continually asses and improve processes
  • Ensure non-functional requirements are defined and met for all Business Change projects
