Description

Principal Network Engineer to £50k plus £5k car

My client are a well established international services provider expanding their Project network teams as a result of internal promotion.

They're seeking a well proven Principal Network Engineer to join them. You'll have ample provable hands on experience with Cisco / ASA / Palo Alto (they mainly operate Cisco tech.) and will be comfortable focusing on Project based work.

The role will be a mixture of hands on project work and team lead / team mentoring - which is more "providing best practice / advice" and not KPI management / conducting 1-2-1's!

If you're a proven Network Engineer looking to take a next step in your career, this could be a perfect opportunity for a senior post.

Key Skills:

  • Experienced hands on Network Engineer working or ready to step in to a Principal or Senior post.
  • Comfortable in project work.
  • Able to mentor and provide best guidance to team members.
  • Background with Cisco / ASA / Palo Alto etc.
  • Experience with Switches / Routers / Firewalls / VPN.
  • CCNA / CCNP qualification or similar would be welcome.

They're great believers in personal training and progression and will give you a great opportunity to work alongside some of the best engineers in the area on modern network technologies.

In addition to a competitive basic salary they also offer a £5k car allowance for the role!
