We currently have an opportunity to join a highly regarded cybersecurity organisation as a Junior Support Engineer based from their London office.  This is a great opportunity for either a graduate or somebody with up to two years’ experience in a 1st or 2nd Line IT Support role that is looking to advance their career.

As Junior Support Engineer you will have a strong Linux and Windows understanding and will be able to build and troubleshoot Linux services.  You will work within the DevOps division of a fast-growing global security company with a passion for cybersecurity and have involvement with an array of exciting projects.

This is a growing global company so the successful Junior Support Engineer will have the opportunity to grow and develop within the organisation.  You will work closely with the DevOps team and may have progression opportunities to go into senior support or DevOps further down the line.

Key requirements:

  • An understanding of Linux and Windows server and operating systems
  • Up to two years’ experience in a junior 1st/2nd line IT support role or a recent graduate
  • A passion for IT and cybersecurity that extends outside of your working life
  • SC clearance or the ability to get this (must have lived in the UK for the last 5+ years)
  • Openness to travel (international travel to clients may be required as part of the role)
  • Scripting experience (ideally in Bash but other languages will be considered)
  • Virtualisation experience in VMware or similar
