Technical Service Manager

This is an opportunity for an experienced technical lead to work for my client in Bristol. My client is a large, financially secure European company who serve over 2,000 customers in more than 50 countries.

This role requires senior technical lead candidates who are actively and keenly looking to take the next step in their career into more hands off work, reacting accordingly to P1 issues and proposing technical improvement projects to respective companies.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring Business As Usual technical operations for all Data Centre customers
  • Creation of technical incident documentation and processes.
  • Coordinate rapid and effective cross sectional response to incidents.
  • Lead all relevant technical teams to restore business as usual within set time scales.
  • Develop and improve internal processes and procedures.
  • Previous technical experience in the following is desirable (cloud/azure/citrix/VMware/Hyper V/AWS/Netapp/EMC/Storage/San/3Par/Netbackup)
