Service Desk Analyst 

Job type: Full Time/Permanent 

Location: Nottingham 

Salary: £30,000 + Benefits


As a Service desk analyst you are responsible for resolving all customer problem tickets. 

Other duties include: 

  • Investigating and analysing all problem tickets
  • SQL data analysis along with spreadsheets and internal tools to analyse data from complex customer calls
  • Manage all problem tickets to ensure they are progressed and resolved to customer satisfaction
  • Carry out all root cause investigation reports
  • Ensure excellent customer service is given at all times
  • Monitor the service dashboard daily and respond to all alerts in a timely manner
  • Provide technical assistance to service desk colleagues
  • Ensure that all service metrics are met
  • Contribute to on-going process improvements
The ideal candidate must have the following skills and experience: 

  • Excellent SQL querying and analysis skills
  • ITIL service desk experience
  • 2+ years customer support or service desk technical experience
  • Great Microsoft skills
