3rd line Support Engineer 

We currently have a requirement for a 3rd Line Support Engineer to join a rapidly expanding global organisation that can offer excellent career progression. In return for your services you will have the chance to develop your technical skills and work with some of the latest and cutting edge technologies.

  • Monitoring and maintenance of the physical and virtual server infrastructure across the European Organisation
  • Maintenance of Microsoft Active Directory Services across the region
  • Maintenance of Enterprise Storage Solutions

Required Skills
  • Highly proficient at supporting, installing and modifying all version of Microsoft Windows server up to Windows 2012 R2 and standard Microsoft applications.
  • Good experience of virtualisation technologies specifically VMware
  • Extensive knowledge in Active Directory Services including DHCP, DNS, ADSS, GPO
  • Knowledge of Cisco Unified Computing Systems
  • Knowledge of supporting SQL practices especially around connecting to databases and security
    • Some exposure of Cisco switches and network technologies/protocols
    • Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools such as SolarWinds
    • Knowledge of backup software and technologies
    • Knowledge of Azure, Office 365 and other cloud based systems
    • Anti-Virus Management
    • SCCM and server patch management
